The 8th edition of the Transport Week conference took place in Gdańsk on 6-8 March.
Topics tackled this year were related to planning and financing of port development projects as well as prospects offered to European logistics by the China-led Belt & Road Initiative (BRI).
After a few years' break, the conference was once again held at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic's Congress Centre where nearly 400 participants gathered for three days of intense discussions and networking.
This year's edition of Transport Week was accompanied by a broad range of sideevents taking place during its main course. The audience had the chance to learn more about issues related to connections combining short sea shipping and rail intermodal transports, safety and innovative technologies surrounding the LNG value chain, as well as ways to improve and finance innovative transport practices based on crossborder cooperation.
