Europalink returns to Finnlines' fleet

The company's Swedish subsidiary, Nordö Link, has bought the 2007-built ro-pax from the Grimaldi Group, which, in turn, is the owner of Finnlines.

Europalink will change its flag from Italian to Swedish, as well as get a scrubber installed in the middle of March. However, she'll be deployed on Finnlines' Malmö-Travemünde route already in mid-February, adding 4,215 lane metres of cargo capacity and space for 554 passengers to the service.

The ferry was sailing for Finnlines till autumn 2012, when she was transferred to the Mediterranean to support Grimaldi's traffic in the region.
