Szczecin's LPG terminal to be modernized

Orlen Paliwa has published a request for proposal concerning project documentation needed to upgrade its Liquefied Petroleum Gas terminal in the Port of Szczecin.

The company plans to modernise its facility in two phases. The first one will cover setting up two new rail handling stations equipped with scales, as well as laying down sidetracks for approx. 90 wagons.

Phase two will involve adding a new 1,500 m3 big storage tank, modernising and dredging the terminal's quay in order to accommodate 10,000 dwt carriers able to carry up to 6,000 tn of LPG, and building a parking lot for 20 tank trucks.
