Wallmann & Co.’s Multi-Purpose Terminal in Port of Hamburg has received the Liebherr’s LHM 600 Litronic port crane for handling heavy and project cargo.

With a maximum load of up to 208 tn, the LMH 600 is the strongest quay crane in service within Hamburg port. The key feature is Liebherr’s Synchronizing Crane Control System enabling synchronized operations of two 140 tn port mobile cranes in tandem, using only one crane driver, thus the two cranes plus the new 208 tn one will enable Wallmann & Co. to handle general cargo loads of up to 320 tn. Thanks also to the Vertical Line Finder equipped with a diagonal-pull display, the heavy load can be raised free of vibration and more rapidly positioned at its stowage position. The LHM 600 Litronic weights 576 tn, standard support base dimensions of 14x14 m, has a height of 38.4 m, swing gear with a radius of 12-58 m and a 45 m max lifting height (at minimum radius).
