The next step towards the full efficiency of Northern Harbour within the Swedish part of Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) has been taken.

On September 21st, Unifeeder’s vessel Ceres inaugurated the new harbour’s container activities, while earlier in May the harbour received its first ro-pax ferries and combi traffic by rail. The container quay has about 300 m and a water depth of 9 m with the possibility of dredging to 10 m as well as offering 50 thou. m2 for handling boxes. The new harbour also offers 1.5 mln m2 as a development area, of which 50% will be used by City of Malmö and CMP, i.e. to create a new logistics centre by 2015-2016.
